this is the first poem i have ever posted and to be honest i think it proves i just have to much time on my hands lol
it was originally a song that me and my band wrote but i felt it was to poetic for a strong punk song so here it is.

Tonight i feel the fear, lust and pain.

I could'nt be cured
Im lost, in lust
Im lured...
To see the signs
of the complicated mind,
Crying to die
In the darkness of time.

Tonight I feel (the fear!)
Lost and broken (the lust..)
Crawling over (the pain)
Failing again
Cause tonight i feel
the fear lust and pain.

Changing channels broken hearts, where the fuck does it start?

Im clutching firm,
Its hard, it burns,
and I've learned...
It's not what really matters anymore!!!

Too complicated,
Love for art is dated,
Poems are just simple songs.

Creation...
Frustration...
Its all made up in the mind of the scars!

Crossed for life....
Hopes to die.....
Its nothing we fear, its just in our minds!

It is poetic! But I'll bet it's a great song, too! Too bad we can't hear it. Great work!

I agree with Island Breeze. It makes a great poem, but I'll bet it makes a great song too.

I think this could pass as either one as well. I don't think you've too much time on your hands, I think you have a talent for writing whether it's poems or songs or both! I liked it, in my opinion, I think it has the potential of being an awesome rock ballad!
